First Post- About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Mikaly (for those unsure, it's pronounced mi-kay-lee).

I'm 18 years old and have been out of high school for two years now. I love to cook, sew, craft and take photos. I also love travelling and was meant to be travelling to Italy at the end of this month, but have had to postpone due to recent world events.

This is my second year as a first year, and my second degree in two years. I started off in a Business and Law degree but I felt that I wasn't interest in the Law part of degree and felt that I wasn't trying to succeed, I was just trying to pass. So I dropped my degree and wanted to start again just doing business.

I currently work full-time as a barista and waitress in a local business and love what I do. This has also impacted me in my choice in choosing this degree as I am highly interested in running a business myself or having a career in business.

So here I am, writing my first piece for my accounting blog for my Bachelor of Business.

I also forgot to add that I am a dog person and have two little fur babies that I absolutely love to bits. I really just love showing people pictures of my dogs ;)
